1. SEEMA DARSHAN

2. INTRODUCTION
Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan organised Seema Darshan program 2019 in which different students of different regions got the opportunity to visit Pitthoragarh and Dharchula (from 12May- 19 May2019). The main motive of this visit was to introduce the students to our border areas.

3. HALDWANI
On 12th May all the students of 5 different Regions – Delhi, Dehradun, Jaipur, Agra, Lucknow reached K.V Haldwani. We all were warmly welcomed by the students of that school through their programs and Principal Mr. T. P. Arya.

4. ALMORA
On 14th we started our journey from Haldwani to Almora. We all were excited for the journey. Firstly we went to visit “Kainchi Dham” which is a very famous temple. We all felt blessed after visiting the temple. Later on we continued our journey. After reaching Almora we went to “Sun Temple” and we all took part in the cleaning of temple area . It was very beautiful and was located on the top of the mountain. We stayed at G.B Pant “Himalayan Institute” at night.

5. PITTHORAGARH
On 15th we progressed our journey from Almora to Pitthoragarh. On the way we discovered another very famous temple “Golu Devta”, we got to know about various beliefs like hanging bells for faith and prosperity. Written wishes of people can be seen. After that we went to an ancient temple “Jageshwar Dham”. That was an excellent and memorable experience for me. After that we Continued our journey and went to K.V Pitthoragarh .

6. PITTHORAGARH
On 15th we visited different blocks of the Army Cantonment and they demonstrated weapons to us. All the students got opportunity to do Rock Climbing which was very adventurous. Later we went to the “Kamakhya temple” which was at the hill top. We could see the whole Pitthoragarh from there. Army person also guided us how to “JOIN INDIAN ARMY” through different ways.

7. DHARCHULA
On 16th we went from Pitthoragarh to “Kumaon Scouts Kent Dharchula”. We felt lucky to see INDIA-NEPAL BORDER from there. Then after we proceed to “DHAULI GANGA RIVER PROJECT”. They introduce us to the working of the Turbines. It was a ecstatic moment for me.

8. DHARCHULA
On 17th we got the opportunity to visit the ARMY CANTONMENT. After that they introduced us to there modern weapons. Then all the students took part in “Rock Climbing” under experts supervision. After that we all went for NEPAL and reached to “INDIA NEPAL FRIENDSHIP BUILDING”. This was the brilliant end of the journey for us.

9. BACK TO HALDWANI
ON 18th we returned back to Almora and stayed at “G.B.PANT INSTITUTE” at night. On 19th we proceed our journey and went to “BHIMTAL LAKE” and clicked so many pictures of nature’s beauty. After that a small closing ceremony was held at our last destination K.V. HALDWANI.

10. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
Firstly, I would like to thanks KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA SANGATHAN for organizing SEEMA DARSHAN program for the students (Session 2019 – 20). Secondly, I would like to thanks our principal mam Mrs. SUDHA GUPTA for giving this opportunity to the students of the school. I would also like to thanks Mrs. ALKA TARIYAL MAM for selecting me to represent our school. And at the last MR. D.M. LAKHEDA SIR for escorting me. I would also thanks INDIAN ARMY OFFICERS and all other teachers who escorts us in the whole journey

11. CONCLUSION & Feedback
Everything in the whole was awesome and all the facilities was up to the mark. And the stay arrangements was also excellent.
I have learnt so many new things from this tour (Seema Darshan) and made new friends from various schools. It was new opportunity for me and I am thankful to the school for such a nice opportunity
These type of tours not only increases our knowledge but also enhances us towards INDIAN ARMY and religious aspects.
This tour will remain always memorable to me and I can share my experience to my mates so that they also get interested towards such activities.
