The following education plan will outline Urban Strategies (USI) efforts to increase outcomes in the areas of kindergarten readiness, core academic functioning, high school graduation and beyond. Data available through LEARN, the State of Texas, and Galveston Independent School District (GISD) informs the development of this Plan.
The plan will focus on:
Youth residing in assisted housing (Cedars and Villas)
The disaggregation of data by race for this population.
