BR inhibits PAMP response through recruiting BAK1 from FLS2 and regulating unknown components downstream of FLS2–BAK1. However, some BRI1-activated BAK1 can activate PAMP response. BIN2 positively and negatively regulates stomatal development through inhibition of YDA-MKK4/5/7/9-MPK3/6 leading to dephosphorylation of SPCH, and direct phosphorylation of SPCH leading to degradation of SPCH via the 26S proteasome, respectively.
