2. What is this project even about?
The green bus routes is working to reduce carbon footprint by redesigning the bus routes, sizes of the bus and ultimately aim to change current fuel-burning buses to electrically charged buses in the long run.

Too many seats that do not get used
Produce too much carbon

Fuel Usage:                     55L —> 53L              [decrease 2 Liters ]
Carbon dioxide released per day:      0.15 to 0.14 Metric tons    [ decrease: 10kg/ day] 
Carbon dioxide released per year:     26.3 to 25.3 Metric tons    [decrease: 1000kg/ year]

11. What did we find out? 6 :00 bus
Fuel Usage:                     55L —-> 54L         [decrease 1 Liter ]
Carbon dioxide released per day:      to 0.140  Metric tons   [ decrease: 4kg/ day] 
Carbon dioxide released per year:     26.1 to Metric tons    [decrease: 600kg/ year]

We reduce 1600 kg of CO2 released into our environment per year 
A single tree absorbs 20kg of CO2 a year
Our net impact is equivalent to planting 80 trees per year

Make a survey for the electric bus users (students and the bus drivers) v
Promote Green Bus (Posters, School newspaper, Videos and etc.) v
Further research on electric buses (cost – benefit analysis)

Accomplished getting the bus administration to get 30 more electric buses for next year
