2 CARRI CHEF 2 – STOWING HOW TO STOW
Remove any cooking surfaces and fat pan from the burner. Cover all modular tops in their individual protective bags. Unscrew the 3 anodized legs, without further removing them from the burner. Once all 3 legs are unscrewed, lift burner from the legs. The structure will remain standing due to the condiments tray still being clipped in. Unclip the condiments tray by simply lifting the tray up, whilst holding onto legs. Place burner, fat pan and modular tops into the main area of carry bag. Slide legs into place ensuring they pass through both of the elasticated straps on the side of the carry bag. Slot dome lid onto back of the bag using the straps provided, above the legs in ‘turtle shell’ fashion. Store condiments tray in the front pouch and secure with strap.

3 CARRI CHEF 2 – FAQs How Do You Clean The Carri Chef 2?
Before cooking, we recommend adding a small amount of water to the fat pan trough. This stops fat or debris that drops through the holes in the BBQ Top from sticking directly onto the fat pan. The fat pan is completely removable so simply lift off and pour out the fat and water after use ready for a wipe through. The cooking surfaces are both coated in a durable non-stick surface material so warm soapy water will clean the surfaces. How Heavy Is The Carry Bag Once Its Fully Packed? The Carri Chef 2 weighs 12kg with the BBQ top and Chef Pan. What Surfaces Do I Get Included? The cooking surfaces included are; the non-stick BBQ Top, non-stick Chef Pan and the nickel chrome plated Pot Stand. The Dome Lid is also included What Kind Of Gas and Regulator Can I Use? The Carri Chef works off propane or butane, the gas you use defines the regulator required. If you have an external gas hitch the gas will be regulated to the correct pressure 30Mb for butane 37MB for Propane. Will my Carri Chef work from a Threaded “Camping” Gas Cartridge, Gas Cylinder or Gas Hitch Point On My Caravan? All will work. Simply ensure you have the correct regulator for your gas supply and attach the hose onto the barbecue. Gas points on caravans and motorhomes will require a specific attachment to attach the gas hitch on the caravan. How Do I Attach My Gas Hose To The Barbecue? Attach your 8mm hose (not provided) to the ¼” BSP brass tailpiece (provided) and secure tightly with a jubilee clip. How Do I Ignite My Carri Chef 2? The Carri Chef 2 features a Piezo Ignition system. By simply pushing the gas control knob and turning in a anti-clockwise direction, the system will fire and ignite the burner. Will My Old Carri Chef Tops Fit The Carri Chef 2? Any cooking surfaces that sit on top of the pot stand will still fit e.g. Paella Pan. Any of the other original surfaces will not fit the Carri Chef 2. N.B. ALWAYS REMEMBER TO TURN OFF THE GAS AT THE CYLINDER PRIOR TO THE CC2 VALVE.
