2 What Companies Expect Companies expect from institutions, organisations, networks aimed at their support That they help them to do business in their own countries, in other EU countries and beyond and thus increase their competitiveness No competition, they should mutually cooperate and be informed about the expertise, competences and knowledge of other institutions, organisations, networks Clear, easily accessible, updated and trustable information and advice

In more than 50 countries, more than 600 partner organisation Supported by COSME (Competitiveness of Enterprises and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Programme) Main aim: assist European companies (mainly SMEs) in internationalisation and innovation Advice on EU law Technology transfer Speak up on EU law Research funding Going international Intellectual property and patents Access to finance Packages for innovative SMEs

4 Points of Single Contact in the CR
Electronic (EN, DE, FR, ES, RU, CZ) 15 physical PSC Staff of physical PSC is able to communicate in English Two modes: Establishment Cross-border provision of services Also general info on out-of-court dispute resolution, consumer protection, Czech tax rules, information on product certificates or contact details and information on business associations and professional chambers in the CR

5 Cooperation Between EEN and PCS
Czech EEN member is a deputy head of the EEN Sector Group Services and Retail Sector Group was involved in PSC Test Panel EEN staff acted as a lecturer for people from newly established PSC in the CR At least once a year, EEN participates in the training for PSC in the CR Mutual Cooperation in solving complicated inquiries in the field of free movement of services

6 Some Results of the PSC Test Panel
Questionnaires Tourism sector Food and beverages Construction sector All sectors had two possibilities Establishment Cross-border provision 72 questionnaires encoded by Sector Group 37 from establishment 35 for cross-border provision 21 countries were covered
