2 What is a Spreadsheet? A spreadsheet is a piece of software which is used to work out calculations. It can handle all the financial applications for a large business or sort out your weekly budget It is really a glorified calculator – but a pretty amazing one at that!

Merge and centre L2 - Wrap (Alt + Enter) Currency Decimal Places Autosum Orientation (portrait and landscape) Alignment – left, centre and right

13 L2 Rule Any formula with brackets – the formula within the brackets are calculated first. i.e. =(C11+D11)-B7

19 L2 - Absolute Cell reference
The formula for the tax in cell C3 is =B3*A8 Because this is not RELATIVE you cannot fill down so you must: Press F4 before you press the ENTER key
