1 Every Child Loves A Bedtime Story
Just Read: An innovative bedtime story app for modern families

2 Quick Questions Introducing… Do you have children?
How old are your children? How much do you enjoy reading bedtime stories together? Jaisha Project Manager Sakeena Designer Do you think you read together enough?

3 This is usually due to the parents’ work.
The Problem The biggest problem most modern day families have is not having time to connect. This is usually due to the parents’ work. Modern parents work long hours or travel abroad, hence not being able to be there for their children. This stops them to be able to do important things such as reading their child a bedtime story. We started our process by defining the problem. We believe that understanding our problem will always give us a better result.

4 The feedback was positive and we realized our app will be popular.
JustRead Users We created a survey and handed them out to parents with young children. The feedback was positive and we realized our app will be popular.

5 Special Education Needs Disabilities
Just Read is a familiar companion for every child, regardless of age, ability or their background. Just Read helps children with SEND. Children that need to listen to a story more than once can easily repeat the stories recorded by their parents. This not only builds their confidence but helps them at school. The app can also help with blind children as they can hear the story aloud.

6 Technical Feasibility
JustRead Flowchart Technical Feasibility Home screen Record Scan Send Received End App No INPUTS PROCESSES OUTPUTS Video Images Voice recording Storing the inputs and sending them to family members Bedtime stories recorded by absent parents for children to watch/listen to

7 JustRead Wireframe After brainstorming we made a prototype.
We encountered some issues to get the wireframe we have today. The prototype helped us to test our users and get constructive feedback. This helped us to make progress and develop.

8 Just Read Testing After producing the app prototype we tested it to see what our potential users thought of our designs. We also produced a video that is on our website: The video summarises the app and our progress. It also presented our vision and helped others to be aware about us.
