Daily Learning Target: I can create a piece of dramatic literature. I can analyze features of dramatic literature, poetry, and informational text on the WFA. I can determine what grades that I need to make to be successful on the EOC.

2 Bell Ringer In a brief statement respond to the following statement…. After high school I plan on (going to college or starting a career). If attending college, what is your intended major? If you are career bound, what is your intended career?

3 Dramatic Scene Create a dramatic scene: Choose a scenario from the bucket. Then with your group create characters, a setting, and dialogue. Each person must have a speaking role. Within the dialogue there should be a clear conflict and theme. The conflict does not have to have a resolution. The scene should last about 2 minutes. Be ready to perform. You will have about 15 minutes to create your scene. I can create a piece of dramatic literature.

4 WFA Read the questions first. Then read the passages carefully.
Answer the questions on your own paper. Then enter your answers in the clicker. I can analyze features of dramatic literature, poetry, and informational text on the WFA.

5 Reflection How did you do on the WFA? What numbers did you miss?
Why do you think you missed the question? What do you need to do differently next week? What can I do to help you succeed? I can analyze features of dramatic literature, poetry, and informational text on the WFA.

6 My FUTURE While your teacher is working with your classmates, take this opportunity to finish your dramatic literature test. If you are finished with the test, you need to be working on the top 100 things to know for EOC. Make a list of 100 things you think you need to know in order to succeed on the EOC. Put a star by the things you still need to know more about Put a check by the things you feel confident Be honest! - you will be quizzed over our Top100 things to start our EOC Boot camp! I can determine what grades that I need to make to be successful on the EOC.
