*One hour to meet with Region & State teams
Day 2
AM: Federal Agency Programs
PM: National School Safety presentation & Grassroots Advocacy
Day 3
10am-3pm: Schedule meetings with your elected officials

Work with other PPI attendees from your state to plan and schedule meetings with your elected officials for Wed, 7/17: 10am-3pm
Research your elected officials & their priorities
Review proposed legislation
Begin to brainstorm possible issues to discuss in your Hill meetings

Implement MTSS
Improve access to mental health support
Integrate school climate and school safety efforts
Balance physical and psychological safety
Employ effective discipline practices

Identify yourself as constituent & provide brief statement about yourself & your experience as SP and/or in education

Share your story!
Highlight specific policy that is working well (or not well) in your state or district
Consider 1 or 2 specific “asks” during your meeting
