We both decided to choose the songs PRIDE by Kendrick Lamar and Redbone by Childish Gambino

What's the message Kendrick is trying to get across in the song "PRIDE" 
What does Kendrick mean when he says "Love is gonna get you killed , but prides gonna be the death of you and you and me and you~~"
What's the message Childish Gambino is trying to get across in the song "Redbone" 
What does Kendrick mean when he says "happiness or flashiness" How do you serve the question?" 
What does the word "Redbone" mean and why is it the songs title
What does the opening line signify when he says "daylight" and "wake up"
When Gambino says " My peanut butter chocolate cake with Kool-Aid" what is he referring to ?
what does Kendrick mean when he says  "the better part the human heart you love em or dissect em"

- The theme of both songs is  "woke"   since in both PRIDE and Redbone, the artists figuratively opening there eyes to the truth of the situation their in
The message Kendrick is trying to get across would be the fact that PRIDE can act on a person in a negative way and how it’s the common flaw a human has in this imperfect world
 " Love is gonna get you killed, but prides gonna be the death of you and me" means  he explains how love and pride are similar but in many ways they are different. Love can make you get into intensive and unhealthy obsession over someone, it can out you in hard times. you wont be able to think clearly when you're in love and you often choose the wrong way to get out of situations. however, pride is something that will rot your soul and destroy you emotionally and will eventually lead you to ruin others lives as well. 
The message of Redbone is 
I believe Kendrick want to take pride in the music that he makes without the flashiness of partying, showing off jewelry 
how wanting to be accepted to everyone won't bring too much happiness, showing some pride in accomplishments is okay but i think he fears the possibility of such pride leading to arrogance and conceitedness 
           I also think this verse was a message that was for those who show off their car, jewlery , big mantions ect
           he asks these people if life is worth living with less spiritual wealth by disowning your soul to instead own immeasurable material wealth?  
The opening line introduces the songs them of staying woke , "daylight" signifying both the beginning of the song and the revelation regarding the possibility of Gambino's partners infidelity as it has recently "dawned" on him. And woke up is signifying the speaker waking up literally and figuratively 
He's referring to his lover who is the redbone and the reason why its called redbone is since the song is talking about his "relationship" with this girl
He asks them if they would care and nurture a human heart or would they dissect and leave it with countless wounds that can never heal.  
The Redbone wants to make amends since she cheated on him and possibly wants to become more than bed buddies , but Gambino doesn’t want to waste his time. So, he rejects her.
