mEGFP:Pp3c12_24670 Fusion Protein Resides in Cytoplasmic Vesicles. Punctate mEGFP:Pp3c12_24670 throughout the P. patens protonema, as displayed in a maximum projection of 16 confocal sections (A). Treatment for 30 min with 1 μg mL−1 Brefeldin A abolishes punctate fluorescence while increasing diffuse cortical and perinuclear fluorescence in confocal sections of P. patens expressing fluorescent Pp3c12_24670 (mEGFP:Pp3c12_24670; compare [B] and [C]) and in P. patens expressing a fluorescent Golgi marker (YFP:GmMan; compare [D] and [E]).
