It is important to remember that teachers, administrators, support staff, students, parents and the community share responsibility for achieving the school’s mission.

If a student misses:
1 day of school = they miss 332 minutes of instruction
3 days of school = they miss 996 minutes of instruction
5 days of school = they miss 1,660 minutes of instruction
10 days of school = they miss 3,320 minutes of instruction
15 days of school = they miss 4,980 minutes of instruction

22. What should I expect from my student as they enter middle school?
New people will enter their lives and different behaviors may arise as a result of this.
Open communication, patience, and understanding will go a long way.
Students may become more independent and will fight the notion of parents interfering in their lives.
Establish the idea that you have the right to question, inspect, and investigate anything going on in their lives.
