PAL stands for Peer Assisted Learning. PAL is Supplemental Instruction was developed by Dr. Deanna Martin in at the University of Missouri, Kansas City (UMKC)
PAL was introduced to the UK at the Manchester University in 1995.
PAL was introduced to Goldsmiths in 2006 across all departments.
It is now running across 7 departments.
