3 Here We are TODAY...

4 INDUSTRY 4.0 provides NEW PARADIGMS for the INDUSTRIAL MANAGEMENT OF SMES. Supported by a growing number of new technologies, this concept appears more flexible and less expensive than traditional system. How presentation will benefit audience: Adult learners are more interested in a subject if they know how or why it is important to them. Presenter’s level of expertise in the subject: Briefly state your credentials in this area, or explain why participants should listen to you.

6 Universities need to provide unrivalled student experience and be at forefront of knowledge creation to remain relevant in the age of Education 4.0 EDUCATION 4.0

7 TECHNOLOGICAL REVOLUTION
We stand on the edge of a TECHNOLOGICAL REVOLUTION that will fundamentally alter the way we live, work, and relate to one another. In this phenomenon, the transformation will be unlike anything we have experienced before.

8 Industry 4.0 The rise of new digital industrial technology, known as Industry 4.0, is a transformation that makes it possible to gather and analyze data across machines, enabling faster, more flexible, and more efficient processes to produce higher-quality goods at reduced costs.

9 Alarming...

10 Time to Re-THINK? TEACHING TRANSFORMATION
How should human teachers focus their efforts if ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI) and other technologies become used to their full potential in the university experience?

11 Time to Re-THINK? PERSONALIZED ADAPTIVE LEARNING
Personalized Adaptive Learning (PAL) is an innovative platform focused on improving learning outcomes which integrates teachers into the process & embraces role of institutions.

12 ASSESSMENT RE-IMAGINED
Time to Re-THINK? ASSESSMENT RE-IMAGINED Can ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI), digital experiential learning and micro-credentials replace high stakes summative tests?

13 Time to Re-THINK? INTELLIGENT DIGITAL AND PHYSICAL ESTATES
this concept is responsive to student journeys and interactions, helping universities deliver efficiencies and a SMART APPROACH TO CAMPUS DESIGN.

14 Time to Re-THINK? INTELLIGENT DIGITAL AND PHYSICAL ESTATES
this concept is responsive to student journeys and interactions, helping universities deliver efficiencies and a SMART APPROACH TO CAMPUS DESIGN.

15 Time to Re-THINK? Technology such as LEARNING ANALYTICS would be increasingly important in helping tutors to develop a holistic view of learners’ engagement and progress.

18 The FUTURE for ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE in Education:
Barbara Kurshan, 2016 Our world as we know it is running on ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE. Siri manages our CALENDARS. FACEBOOK suggests our friends. COMPUTERS trade our stocks. We have cars that park themselves, and air traffic control is almost fully AUTOMATED. Virtually every field has benefited from advances in artificial intelligence, from the military to medicine to manufacturing. However, almost none of the recent advancements in artificial intelligence have advanced the education industry.

19 The FUTURE for ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE in Education:
Barbara Kurshan, 2016 Virtual mentors for every learner: Omnipresent support that integrates user modeling, social simulation and knowledge representation. Addressing 21st century skills: Assist learners with self-direction, self assessment, teamwork and more. Analysis of interaction data: Bring together the vast amounts of data about individual learning, social contexts, learning contexts and personal interests. Provide opportunities for global classrooms: Increase the interconnectedness and accessibility of classrooms worldwide. Lifelong and lifewide technologies: Taking learning outside of the classroom and into the learner’s life outside of school.

20 will help the leaders and learners of TOMORROW
COLLABORATION on TECH-DRIVEN DESIGN will help the leaders and learners of TOMORROW

21

22 The change that occurs when new digital technologies and business models affect the value proposition of existing goods and services

23 RESEARCH COLLABORATIONS
Universities need to strive to be the nucleus for all RESEARCH COLLABORATIONS in academia and industry...

24 Use of TECHNOLOGY in STUDENT ENROLLMENT

25 E-PORTFOLIO can be established which will involve more focus on the skills and competencies that students have gained and e-portfolio will document digitally.

26 CHATBOTS SOFTWARE TEACHING ASSISTANT
are useful as it may automatically handle routine queries (counseling section), respond survey queries, and answer queries generated by students, parents, and stakeholders and to deal with more complicated problems. It may also work as TEACHING ASSISTANT to answer student queries in online forums. It will be a live formative feedback anytime, anywhere...

27 Artificial Intelligence (AI) can turn any textbook into a smart study guide complete with chapter summaries, multiple choice practice tests and flashcards of specific textbook.

28 Why STEM

29 Importance of STEM Education
