Writing Your Way to Success

7 Make your name easy to see on the front cover.

8 Decorate your writer’s notebook!

9 For Each Entry Write: The Date A Brief Title Your entry

10 Each Entry Should Be: About 1 page long or more
Written 3 per school week unless otherwise instructed.

11 Be Careful: If you write about someone hurting you, I have to tell.
If you write about hurting someone else, I have to tell.

12 Fold Your Page Over IF: You write something you’d rather I’d not read.
I’ll know if there’s writing there (I have so much to read, I won’t mind skipping one BELIEVE ME!) If you don’t want me to know, I don’t want to know.

13 GRADING DATE 1 point TITLE 1 point WRITING 3 points
Total: 5 points each

14 When Given Class Time to write
If you forgot your WN that day, write on a piece of paper and tape it into the WN later.
