2nd Tardy: 25 min teacher detention 3rd Tardy: 40 min teacher detention 4th tardy starts Referral process with Administration * Tardies are per 6 weeks

7 Absences Be Present Everyday but…………………. If you cant
You have one day for everyday you missed to make up your work for full credit whether your absence is excused or unexcused. Example I missed Monday I return Tuesday my make-up work is due to my teacher on Wednesday

8 Graduation Requirements
GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS FOR STUDENTS ENTERING GR 9 IN ENGLISH 4 credits MATH 4 credits; one credit must be Algebra I, one credit must be Geometry. (If Algebra 2 is selected, common core assessment is 30% of the final course grade.) SCIENCE 3 credits, one credit must be in Biology I SOCIAL STUDIES ½ US Government, 1 credit World History, 1 credit US History, ½ Economics WORLD LANGUAGE Not required for graduation BUT required for admission to state universities and Bright Futures Scholarship. FINE ART 1 credit required PHYSICAL EDUCATION 1 credit of HOPE ADDITIONAL CREDITS 8 credits; May include electives or additional academic courses State Assessment Requirements ELA Passing score on grade 10 ELA Reading or concordant score of 430 on SAT or 19 on ACT. EOC Must take and pass Algebra 1 (will also count as 30% of final course grade), must take Biology (will also count as 30% of final course grade), must take Geometry (will also count as 30% of final course grade), must take US History (will also count as 30% of course grade). Grade Point Average Requirement GPA A cumulative unweighted GPA of a 2.0 is required for graduation ONLINE LEARNING At least one course within the 24 credits required MUST be completed through online learning.  Options include Pinellas Virtual School ( or Florida Virtual School (

10 Storm Chasers Every teacher gets 6 storm chasers a week that they can give to students for demonstrating the characteristics of a storm chaser. Students can turn one half in for a weekly drawing Students can collect the other half of the storm chasers ticket throughout the month Once a month the Kona Ice truck will be here and students can trade in 5 storm chasers for a Kona Ice

11 Schedule Change If you would like to request a schedule change, please pick up a schedule change form from Mrs. Eberts, fill it out and leave it for your school counselor.
