Praise Song: Oh How Good It Is
6
Oh how good it is When the family of God Dwells together in spirit In faith and unity. Where the bonds of peace, Of acceptance and love Are the fruit of His presence here among us.
7
So with one voice we’ll sing to the Lord And with one heart we’ll
live out His word Till the whole earth sees The Redeemer has come For He dwells in the presence of His people.
8
Oh how good it is On this journey we share To rejoice with the happy And weep with those who mourn. For the weak find strength The afflicted find grace When we offer the blessing Of belonging.
9
So with one voice we’ll sing to the Lord And with one heart we’ll
live out His word Till the whole earth sees The Redeemer has come For He dwells in the presence of His people.
10
Oh how good it is To embrace His command To prefer one another Forgive as He forgives. When we live as one We all share in the love Of the Son with the Father And the Spirit.
11
So with one voice we’ll sing to the Lord And with one heart we’ll
live out His word Till the whole earth sees The Redeemer has come For He dwells in the presence of His people.

Hymn 353 (v. 1-4): I Love Thy Kingdom, Lord
13
the house of thine abode, the church our blest Redeemer saved
I love thy kingdom, Lord, the house of thine abode, the church our blest Redeemer saved with his own precious blood.
14
her walls before thee stand, dear as the apple of thine eye,
I love thy church, O God: her walls before thee stand, dear as the apple of thine eye, and graven on thy hand.
15
For her my tears shall fall, for her my prayers ascend;
to her my cares and toils be given, till toils and cares shall end.
16
I prize her heavenly ways, her sweet communion, solemn vows,
Beyond my highest joy I prize her heavenly ways, her sweet communion, solemn vows, her hymns of love and praise.

Confession of Faith: Apostles’ Creed How Good It Is to Thank the Lord
18
I believe in God the Father, Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born of the virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried; He descended into hell.
19
The third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven,
and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
20
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church,
the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

Hymn 355: We Are God’s People How Good It Is to Thank the Lord
25
We are God's people, the chosen of the Lord,
Born of His Spirit, established by His Word; Our cornerstone is Christ alone, And strong in Him we stand: O let us live transparently And walk heart to heart and hand in hand.
26
the Bride of Christ our Lord, For we have known it,
We are God’s loved ones, the Bride of Christ our Lord, For we have known it, the love of God outpoured; Now let us learn how to return The gift of love once given: O let us share each joy and care, And live with a zeal that pleases Heaven.
27
We are the Body of which the Lord is Head,
Called to obey Him, now risen from the dead; He wills us be a family, Diverse yet truly one: O let us give our gifts to God, And so shall his work on earth be done.
28
We are a temple, the Spirit’s dwelling place,
Formed in great weakness, a cup to hold God’s grace; We die alone, for on its own Each ember loses fire: Yet joined in one the flame burns on To give warmth and light, and to inspire.

1 Thessalonians 2:14-3:5 (ESV)
Scripture Reading: 1 Thessalonians 2:14-3:5 (ESV)
30
14 For you, brothers, became imitators of the churches of God in Christ Jesus that are in Judea. For you suffered the same things from your own countrymen as they did from the Jews, 15 who killed both the Lord Jesus and the prophets, and drove us out, and displease God and oppose all mankind
31
16 by hindering us from speaking to the Gentiles that they might be saved—so as always to fill up the measure of their sins. But wrath has come upon them at last! 17 But since we were torn away from you, brothers, for a short time, in person not in heart, we endeavored the more eagerly and with great desire to see you face to face,
32
18 because we wanted to come to you—I, Paul, again and again—but Satan hindered us. 19 For what is our hope or joy or crown of boasting before our Lord Jesus at his coming? Is it not you? 20 For you are our glory and joy.
33
Therefore when we could bear it no longer, we were willing to be left behind at Athens alone, 2 and we sent Timothy, our brother and God's coworker in the gospel of Christ, to establish and exhort you in your faith, 3 that no one be moved by these afflictions. For you yourselves know that we are destined for this.
34
4 For when we were with you, we kept telling you beforehand that we were to suffer affliction, just as it has come to pass, and just as you know. 5 For this reason, when I could bear it no longer, I sent to learn about your faith, for fear that somehow the tempter had tempted you and our labor would be in vain.

The Deep Love of Christian Fellowship
Message: The Deep Love of Christian Fellowship by Pastor James Lim lder Eric Kooi

Blest Be the Tie That Binds
Hymn 359: Blest Be the Tie That Binds
37
Blest be the tie that binds our hearts in Christian love: the fellowship of kindred minds is like to that above. Before the Father's throne we pour our ardent prayers; our fears, our hopes, our aims are one, our comforts and our cares.
38
We share our mutual woes, our mutual burdens bear, and often for each other flows the sympathizing tear. When we asunder part, it gives us inward pain; but we shall still be joined in heart, and hope to meet again.
39
This glorious hope revives our courage by the way, while each in expectation lives, and longs to see the day. From sorrow, toil and pain, and sin, we shall be free; and perfect love and friendship reign through all eternity.
