Houses constructed per Province
BACKGROUND 1.1 ORIGINAL PURPOSE To make a substantial contribution on a national basis to normalisation of the low cost housing market through the provision of appropriate “rightsizing” houses for qualifying beneficiaries. 1.2 PERFORMANCE TO DATE ( 4443 units ) Houses constructed per Province - 3 - BACKGROUND 1.1 ORIGINAL PURPOSE To make a substantial contribution on a national basis to normalisation of the low cost housing market through the provision of appropriate “rightsizing” houses for qualifying beneficiaries. 1.2 PERFORMANCE TO DATE (4443 units) (Houses constructed per Province)

HOMES WHY “REINVENTION” AND NOT INCREMENTAL IMPROVEMENT? 2.1 THE FUTURE IS NOT WHAT IT USED TO BE! - Rightsizing potential reduced from 17000 to 11000 2.2 DOING THE SAME THING BETTER WOULD NOT GUARANTEE SUCCESS - External factors override good planning 2.3 THE NEED TO OFFER THE DEPARTMENT A “BETTER RETURN” - Assist with implementation of National Priorities. - 5 - 2.
