If the following operating conditions are fulfiled there is no further oilpump required! This pipe dimensioning-table gives first-cut values for: Heating oil EL respectiverly heating oil with low sulfur content (<50ppm) with max. 10% FAME (bio heating oil content), oil temperature >10°C (inside tank) till 700 m altitude, 1 filter, 1 valve, 6 elbows 90° (40 mbar)

Instructions Directive PROCAL «Designing and dimensioning for suctions systems for heating oil extra and pipes made out of copper or plastic». There are also included conversions of oil temperature, viscosity, additional resistance, influence of altitude over 700 m.
Oversized heating oil pipes can cause failures! Therefore it is necessary to take into account the dimensioning-table for heating oil pipes when the boiler is replaced.
