A verb is an action word. Let’s think of a few examples.

So, what is a verbal ? A verbal is formed from a verb but functions as a different part of speech.

So, what is a verbal ? Verbals are never the main verb in a sentence. They are verbs that are acting as another part of speech.

Each verbal is often part of a phrase.

There are three types of verbals:
