Little Hunting after they began to farm and raise food for themselves When they did hunt, the hunted for deer and other animals in the region

Villages had a center plaza for rituals and such Log cabins and wooden shelters for homes

Housing 2 When villages reached a population of , they split, forming a new village These were permanent settlements A rotunda at the center of each palza

Had axes used for building log cabins Bows and arrows for limited hunting Knives for ceremonies

Because when each village split, the new village kept close ties with its parent village, the creeks formed a close knit confederacy 14 tribes, languages similar, similar culture

Had chimneys on some of their cabins Cabins made of interlocking logs Used plows Had axes Understood wedges

Real name Muscogee Known for being brave and carrying on the traditions of their fathers Named creek because settlers first encountered them along the Ocheese creek, now the Ocmulgee river
