Immunohistochemical detection of nuclear and cytoplasmic YB-1 in osteosarcoma and synovial sarcoma.
Immunohistochemical detection of nuclear and cytoplasmic YB-1 in osteosarcoma and synovial sarcoma. Antibodies were used against YB-1 (A, B, D, and E) or PGP (C and F). Osteosarcoma is shown with cytoplasmic YB-1 expression (A), nuclear YB-1 expression (B), and PGP expression (C). Synovial sarcoma is shown with cytoplasmic YB-1 expression (D), nuclear YB-1 expression (E), and PGP expression (F). The patient in D showed no evidence of disease 131 months after surgery. The patient in F died of lung metastasis 8 months after the initial surgery. Michihiko Kuwano et al. Mol Cancer Ther 2004;3: ©2004 by American Association for Cancer Research
