Does the New Testament require “tithing?” Tithing was expected even before the Old Testament law was given. (Abraham, Genesis 14:20; Jacob, Genesis 14:22). Jesus commanded the tithe (Matthew 23:23)

If you are a Christian and you do not tithe, show God your heart by making sacrifices to help you move toward a tithe. Remember that our sacrifice and generosity reap eternal rewards!
