3. Goals
Teach students about the origins and structure of American Government
Teach students to get their information from a variety of news sources so that they can make their own informed decisions.
Teach students why it is important to register to vote and why it is important to get out and vote on election day. One vote does matter.
Prepare students to become productive members of society regardless of their post-high school goals.

5. Classroom Policies Attendance and tardy policies
School begins at 7:15am and ends at 2:00pm unless it is an early dismissal day. (12:45pm)
Edgenuity and homework. Project completion. Current events.
Behavior. Seniors should know my expectations on proper behavior. Referrals are written as a last resort.
Phones, eating, drinks, etc.

6. Grading
Grades will consist of student’s Edgenuity grade combined with grades received from my assignments and projects.
Excessive unexcused tardies can have an affect on a student’s overall grade. As will work not made up within the specified time as outlined by school district policy.
Grades are entered into focus daily. Projects may take longer to enter.

7. Parent Conferences
I am available for parent/teacher conferences. Conferences must be arranged through the MHS guidance department.
