You will be able to adapt your initial drawing and add geometric shapes in an effective way to enhance the piece.

4. Take a sheet of large tracing paper and overlay this onto the drawing,

Take a sheet of large tracing paper and overlay this onto the drawing,
Now draw your entire drawing again, but ONLY in line.
Now, select several areas of interest and draw various squares and/or rectangles,
Once done, cut these out and then reassemble them in an interesting way, making them more compact than your collage
Trace them into your sketchbook

5. Draw these on using a ruler and a HB pencil.

Look carefully at your piece and decide where you think some additional shapes and lines might help to improve and balance your work.
