Significant scope for electives in Honours and potential for students to specialise in certain areas of interest e.g. environmental law, human rights law, commercial/trade law, criminal law, international law. Numerous research centres at Strathclyde which inform teaching

LLB Degree structure Structure of degree means that students can switch between the LLB (Hons) Scots Law degree and the LLB (Hons) Scots and English degree. Hence no need to apply to both degrees. The Clinical degree may be applied for as part of UCAS or when students arrive in September. Entry to the Clinic is a precondition of admission to the Clinical degree and involves a formal application and interview. Entry is very competitive. The same academic criteria apply to the Clinical degree so again, no need to make multiple applications. If applying for Law with Language in addition to standard LLB, separate application is recommended.
