Course Objectives Introduce the scope and vocabulary of architecture
Introduce architectural practice and education Introduce the different aspects of architecture and its different meanings Provide basics of architectural history and theory Identify basic elements of architecture Introduce basic mechanisms and tools of visual communication and provide background knowledge from the field of visual arts, needed for understanding various qualities of architectural works

Course Objectives Develop perceiving abilities
Develop abilities and skills of comparing, critical observing, analyzing and evaluating of architectural works Develop student’s visual culture in general, by raising the level of understanding of architectural works, as well as of understanding of built environment Encourage interest and affinity for architecture in all its various aspects
