RN 2.1-Understanding text, 3.RV2.2-Synonyms and Antonyms Math- 3.NS.1-Understanding Number Sense/place value to 1,000. Addition and Subtraction facts. AR and Math Facts start now! AR 9 weeks goal is 14 points. Math Facts in a Flash 9 weeks goal is Level 7. Your child must have their permission slip in to use the computers!!!! that to t Thanks to all of you that were able to attend Back to School Night. If you couldn’t come, your child should have brought home some information to read over. Many of us did poorly on our Reading test this week. It is a new format and soon to be given on the computer. If your child’s test says Fix and Return please do and I will average their grade in the gradebook. Thanks!! Reading Traditional Tales/ Folktales Math Addition strategies for regrouping Lang. Synonyms and Antonyms/Personal narratives Social Studies PLTW starts next week/ waiting for materials Spelling Inflected endings- es and ies Growth Mindset Quote of the Week. Fixed Mindset: I’m not good at that! Growth Mindset: I can and will get better at that!! Hard work and determination are game changers How parents can help this week: Continue working on addition and subtraction facts. Only 3 kiddos haven’t passed their addition 5 minute test…they are very close….but they are doing awesome. Subtraction is tougher and I think I have 5 that are now ready for multiplication YIPPEE! READ READ READ we need to become better and more fluent each and every day. Please examine the NWEA results that your child is bringing home today!! Thanks so much for all you do!! .
