FYP GUIDELINES Students are required to meet with their supervisor at least once a week. The meeting with the supervisor cannot be less than 7 times per semester. Students are required to spend 12 hours per week in a designated laboratory as assigned by their respective supervisor. Please consult with your supervisor to match a suitable lab.

FYP GUIDELINES Students must make sure that their project is working and ready to be demo. The quality of technical writing in the report & the output of the project must be balanced. Students must submit their final report (hardcopy) along with the table of corrections. If failed to submit this form, students are unable to submit their final report (hardcover).

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES student
Discussing with the supervisor preferred ways of working and agreeing a schedule of meetings Carrying out research in an ethical way and in line with University Guideline. Being honest when reporting on progress. Showing their supervisor the final draft of their thesis before submission

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES supervisor
Provide guidance, advice, supervised and monitor the project flow of the student. Notify the FYP coordinator regarding the change of title or student, if any for approval. Obtained approval from the heads/person in charge of the laboratory if the project involved area or equipment in there and purchasing. Evaluate the results of the report and assessment of the student under supervision and submit to the FYP coordinator by the date specified. Verify the log book, the final draft and the hard bound reports.

Log book (compulsory) Students are required to complete
their logbook and present it to their supervisor during the meeting.

Second selection: best 3 projects/protocols from each program during the exhibition Third selection: best project from each department during the exhibition The budget will be provided for each participant (Poster size A1)
