Water scarcity evaluation (HU): For surface water bodies, in August (longterm, at least 10 years): Bal_ sw = RWA_sw – Demand_sw (~ TWA_sw_representative!!) Since RWA_sw corresponds to 80% duration, probability of water scarcity is 20%, if Bal_sw <0. For groundwater catchments, LTTA: Bal_gw = RWA_gw – TWA_gw - water scarcity if Bal_gw < 0 or WEI_gw = TWA_gw/RWA_gw - water scarcity if WEI_gw < 1 (0.9)

WEI test in Hungary No problem Kapos shows more vulnerability than the country (medium catchment without transboundary connection). August is more sensitive than the year. Kettos-Koros is similar to national scale, annual evaluation (large catchment in abroad), but more sensitive in August (no considerable inlow from Romania).
