Data collection and dissemination (Doc. PGSC )

2 Introduction Eurostat Unit A3 collects data from:
Enlargement countries: the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Turkey, Albania (candidate countries), Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kosovo (potential candidates); Croatian data is now part of EU-28 Unit A3 does not for the time being collect data from Iceland. ENP (European Neighbourhood Policy) countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine (ENP-East countries), Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestine, Syria and Tunisia (ENP-South countries). The data are used for various purposes, including for publications, free dissemination on Eurostat website, etc.

3 Data collection Eurostat organises data collection from:
enlargement countries – two rounds per year National Accounts , EDP – recently direct data collection by ESTAT technical units started ENP countries - annual Data collected cover the main statistical indicators in the following domains: Demography National accounts Industry Trade Labour market Environment Energy Etc.
