2. The Location and the people
Akrata is located in the south-west of Greece. Also, it is situated in the north of the Peloponnese and it is near two big cities, Patra and Aigio. Furthermore, it is built near the sea and Mount Helmos. The people who live in Akrata are almost The town is 110 years old.

3. The old and the modern part of the town
This town has a beautiful long beach. Also, there is a big lake called Tsivlos near Akrata. There are many mountains and a river called Krathis. It has got many traditional villages and the life there is peaceful and quiet. There is a waterfall which is up on the mountains of Akrata. The old part of Akrata has got many old houses and an old church. Furthermore, in the modern part of town, there are modern neighbourhoods with blocks of flats.

4. Activities
The visitors can enjoy fantastic walks, a great meal in a restaurant, cycling by the sea, go hiking on the mountains, play football and beach volleyball or swim in the sea.
