IL8 and TNFα are required for neutrophil-induced UMSCC47 increase in invasion. A, 50,000 UMSCC47 cells were plated in the upper chamber and 200,000 (4:1 ratio) neutrophils were added to the bottom chamber. B, UMSCC47 invasion in the absence of neutrophils. Where indicated, anti-IL8 (10 ng/mL) and anti-TNF (5 ng/mL) were added to the media 30 minutes before the experiment. Cell invasion was calculated as the average cell coverage area under the membrane after 24 hours of incubation (n = 3, ANOVA, P < ; Tukey test **, P < 0.01). Judah E. Glogauer et al.
