Letters from eligible veteran that would establish foreign service
Any proof that is acceptable to the VFW

Make hospital tray favors
Work a “Buddy”® Poppy Drive
Carry a flag in a parade
Write letters to a Senator or Representative
Bring comfort to a hospitalized veteran
Make students aware of the Scholarship programs available

• Always be prepared.

14. Adopt-A-Member

15. Adopt-A-Member Consider paying Annual dues for:
• A major milestone of continuous years of membership. Ex.: 10, 15, 20, 25 years, etc.
• A birthday gift.
• Helping out with an expense while they continue their education.
• To say thank you.

16. Adopt-A-Member Consider paying Annual dues for:
• Consider purchasing a Life Membership.
• As a token of appreciation.
• As a thank you for all a member has done for the Auxiliary.
• To honor their years with the organization.

17. Awards for Members Red Plumeria Pin for 5 new and/or rejoined members.
White Plumeria Pin for 10 new and/or rejoined members.
Blue Plumeria Pin for 20 new and/or rejoined members.
Special VFW Auxiliary Member Drawing for each VFW Auxiliary member who recruits five (5) new and/or rejoined members. Your name will be entered in a drawing for $300 cash.

18. 50/50 Award for Auxiliaries
$50 to each Auxiliary that reaches 95% by November 30, 2019.
$50 to each Auxiliary that reaches 100% Plus by January 31, 2020.

19. Awards for Departments
$500 for 95% Plus by November 30, 2019.
$500 for 100% Plus by January 31, 2020.
Any Department not attaining 100% Plus by January 31, 2020 is eligible for $100 for the Department if 100% Plus is attained by May 31, 2020.

21. Conference vs. Conference Awards
$50 to each Department in the winning Conference with the highest total percentage:
