Originally a Gothic castle rebuilt into Renaissance
After the battle at White Mountain – confiscation - new owners, the Italian family Collalto
1760 fire – one wing of the building completely destroied
Changes during the 19th century – an original park made into ´English´

6. CURRENT SITUATION In serious disrepair
Since 2008, gradual reconstruction with finnantial support of the Ministry of Culture
2011 – opened for the public for the first time (on request)
