2. The conjunction si links two ideas
The conjunction si links two ideas. One is a hypothetical condition (si clause), and the other is a possible result of that condition.
The si clause can begin or end the sentence.

3. Condition: si + verb au présent
Résultat:
Présent
Si tu vas à la manifestation, j’y vais aussi.
(If you’re going to the demonstartion, I’m going too.)
Futur proche
Elle va nous rendre visite s’il fait beau demain.
(She is going to visit us, if it’s nice tomorrow.)
Futur simple
S’il fait beau demain, nous ferons un pique-nique.
(If it’s nice tomorrow, we’ll have a picnic.)
Impératif
Téléphone-moi vers 9 h s’il fait beau demain.
(Call me around 9 o’clock, if it’s nice tomorrow.)

4. Condition: si + imparfait
Résultat:
Conditionnel
Il n’y aurait pas de préjugés si tout le monde avait l’esprit ouvert.
(There wouldn’t be any prejudice, if everyone had an open mind.)
S’il pleuvait, je travaillerais chez moi.
(If it were raining, I would work at home.)
Te senterais-tu mieux si tu te couchais plus tôt?
