4. Structure Revision
Current system is points-based with required (“essential”) standards at higher levels
New system will use building blocks (required standards) at lower levels and points at higher levels
Roll-out Sessions To Be Announced
2 sessions in each county (day and evening)

5. Standards Revision
Identify outcomes the state seeks to impact as a result of the revision process
Develop subcommittees with subject matter expertise in particular areas to focus on subsets of indicators
Refine indicators with a focus on standards that have been shown to address identified targeted outcomes
