7. What you must know…
The advantages and disadvantages of different types of sampling. As a rule: if you are asked to choose a type of sample and there is a sampling frame available choose a type of random sample (more representative and unbiased.) If there is no sampling frame and you are looking for a certain type of person use a non-random sampling frame (like a quota sample.)
