Reduction of static pressure allows:
High velocity of air (air flow) to travel through the pad
b. Enables fan to operate at its optimum performance
- use lesser energy to operate the fan

Given a test scene requirement of airflow 3.2m/s ,
The 45/15 will require lesser pads comparatively to 45/45 to achieve the same airflow, as the 45/45 is slower at airflow intake.
Lesser pads required = lesser investment cost.
