Background The GEF Constituency is comprising the following countries: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria. Croatia, Georgia, Moldova, GYR Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Serbia and Ukraine Moldova is the Council Member since January 2007

Provides Forum to discuss GEF related issues in regional context Offers the opportunity to share the experience on implementation of GEF projects and GEF Programs Stimulating GEF Focal Points to mainstream GEF issues at national level Facilitates identification of common objectives and addressing problems at regional level Facilitates offering the information about recent achievements of countries regarding the GEF issues Facilitates establishment of informal partnerships for reaching various objectives Offers the opportunity to enhance relationship between members
