PONTINE GLIOMA
9
Right glomus jugulare paraganglioma
A large well-defined lobulated intensely enhancing lesion with its epicentre in the right jugular foramen and right middle ear cavity with permeative destruction of the surrounding bones, widening of the jugular foramen, encasement and narrowing of right internal carotid artery.
11
Sciatic nerve neurofibroma/schwanoma
15
Glioma. Ill defined enhancing lesions in the parietal region, left cerebellar hemisphere and tectum.
18
FINDINGS: Evidence of 3 focal areas of signal intensity [FASI] noted in the genu and splenium of corpus callosum and another in the deep white matter of the left parietal lobe which appear isointense on T1, hyperintense on T2 and FLAIR-weighted images. Evidence of a well defined nodular lesions noted involving bilateral optic nerve heads [left>right] causing optic nerve enlargement, the lesion appears T1 iso - hypointense and T2 hypointense - optic nerve glioma.
19
Neurofibromatosis type I,
Focal areas of signal intensity [FASI] in the genu and splenium of corpus callosum and in the deep white matter of the left parietal lobe. Well defined nodular lesions involving bilateral optic nerve heads [left>right] causing optic nerve enlargement - likely s/o optic nerve glioma.
23
oligodendroglioma Ill defined enhancing intraaxial lesion in the cortex and subcortical white matter of the left frontal lobe with surrounding edema.
25
oligodendroglioma There is a dense irregular calcified lesion with peripheral soft tissue component seen in the left parieto occipital lobe. Multiple gyral calcifications noted adjacent to the lesion. Gross white matter vasogenic edema causing mild mass efftect and midline shift of 6mm. Effacement of the sulcal spaces noted in the left frontal, parietal and occipital lobes. DD – Calcified meningioma.
