Northern blot analysis of maspin in cancer cell lines and human tissues. A, HMECs and seven human breast cancer cell lines. B, nine pancreatic cancer cell lines. C, six gastric cancer cell lines. D, four melanoma cell lines. Each lane contains 10 μg of total RNA. E, expression of maspin in normal tissues. The blot containing 2 μg poly(A) RNA per lane was purchased from Clontech. The blots were hybridized with 2.5 kb maspin cDNA probe. 36B4 was used as loading and transfer control.
