Aims The workshop will focus on sharing effective strategies that enhances collaboration within departments, with specific reference to supporting C/D boarder students. It will examine the advantages of the strategies, as well as their limitations and how these limitations can be minimised.

How do we collaborate as a department to get the best result out of our students?
Whole department identification of the students with particular needs using previous data etc. Team teaching Sharing good practice in relation to teaching and learning of mathematics during department meetings. Sharing of teaching and learning resources Collaborative planning

Respond positively to necessary changes that need to be made in terms of teaching groups. Mathematics teachers working with individual students as mentors within the subject. Support each other in terms of classroom behaviour management. Modelling of lessons Video lessons and critique during department meetings.
