3 MOUNTAINS OF GILBOE Following the ROAD to Jerusalem, today we stop at the Gilboe’s mountains, north of Samaria, that Jesus certainly saw, and probably went through them sometimes. Perhaps he also prayed? (2Sam 1,21: the mountains of David’s prayer)

4 Lk 11:1-13 Now Jesus was praying in a certain place, and when he finished, one of his disciples said to him, "Lord, teach us to pray, as John taught his disciples."

5 Jesus spends the nigth praying
Pictures of Bradi Barth (+2007) Jesus spends the nigth praying Quan When He finds himself with the Father, humanity finds itself with God Road to the top of Gilboe

6 And he said to them, "When you pray, say: "Father, hallowed be your name.

7 View from the top of Gilboe
To pray is to say: View from the top of Gilboe Father: make us sanctify Your Name beeing for You good sons, beeing good brothers to the others, living in earth a CLOSENESS as the one in Heaven

8 Your kingdom come. Give us each day our daily bread

9 Let Your Kingdom come Where ALL can know how to welcome giving us bread every day, where we all know how to love as we deserve, where ALL can feel close between us and with God

10 and forgive us our sins, for we ourselves forgive everyone who is indebted to us.

11 Jesus searches the lost sheep
Top trees Let us forgive... Aware that You not only looks for us when we turn aside, but You forgive us heartily Jesus searches the lost sheep

12 And lead us not into temptation.“

13 Without falling into temptation... Peter treachering Jesus
To fall into temptation betrays us, overrides us, drives us into the devastating BEING NOT. Inner liberty makes us BE better than we are Peter treachering Jesus

14 And he said to them, "Which of you who has a friend will go to him at midnight and say to him, 'Friend, lend me three loaves, for a friend of mine has arrived on a journey, and I have nothing to set before him'; and he will answer from within, 'Do not bother me; the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed. I cannot get up and give you anything'? I tell you, though he will not get up and give him anything because he is his friend, yet because of his impudence he will rise and give him whatever he needs.

15 The Bread that Jesus gives us
The Bread you gives us, Jesus, it forces us to share it with the brother To close the door and not to give bread to the other, is to close the heart without let it beat The Bread that Jesus gives us Gilboe’s valley

16 And I tell you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.

17 God gives us much more than we are capable of receive
Jesus whasing Peter’s feet God gives us much more than we are capable of receive «God’s gift is great, but we are wicked to accept it. When we love, we increase our ability to receive» (St. Augustine)

18 What father among you, if his son asks for a fish, will instead of a fish give him a serpent; or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!"

19 «Learn the power of humility, before God» (St. Clement roman)
The Father sends us his SPIRIT if we humble ourselves Gilboe’s valley vegetation

20 You, Lord, who teached us the Lords Prayer, make us say it everyday with piety. Who knows if it could change the WORLD
