Year Two: AY18-19 Outreach Open Access Week – David Wiley
Open Education Week – staffed a table, talked with students and faculty OER Grants Workshop hosted by Research & Innovation Met with individual faculty Community of Practice Met in Spring 2019 – 8 participants

Challenges Awareness Staffing SB 810
Many faculty on our campus don’t know what OER are, or think that open = free. Some faculty have negative preconceived notions about OER. We have had only one person in the library working on this, but we have a new scholarly communication librarian who will also be doing work with OER. It has proven difficult to identify the classes that have no materials costs. This is a priority for next year.
