2. Voicemail Setup for New Users
Press the “messages” button on your desk phone.
If prompted for password, press “1234#” (this code is only for new users.)
Press 1 to setup your voic greeting.
When prompted, record your name, then press the # key. Then press 1 to review your recorded name, 2 to re-record your name, or 3 to accept.
Next you will be prompted to record a greeting. When prompted, record a greeting, then press the # key. Then press 1 to review your recorded greeting, 2 to re-record greeting, or 3 to accept.
After you have accepted your greeting recording, you will be prompted to change your voic password. Enter a new 4-digit password, then press #
Your voic setup is now complete.

3. Accessing Your Messages, and Playback Options
Log into your voic by pressing the “Messages” button on your desk phone. Then when prompted, enter your password followed by pressing the # key.
After entering your password, press 1 to listen to your messages.
The message playback options are as follows.
Press 1 to play message from beginning
Press 4 to play the previous message
Press 5 to play envelope
Press 6 to play the next message
Press 7 to delete or restore message
Press 8 to forward message
Press 9 to call the sender
Press * to return to the main menu

4. Changing Greetings for Existing Users
Log into your voic by pressing the “Messages” button on your desk phone. Then when prompted, enter your password followed by pressing the # key.
Press * to access the Main Menu
Press 3 to access the Greetings Menu
Press 1 to access the Standard Greetings options, Press 2 for your alternate greeting options, or Press 3 for default greeting options.

Press 1 to enable greeting
Press 2 to review greeting
Press 3 to record greeting (standard and alternate greetings only)
Press 4 to delete greeting (standard and alternate greetings only)
Press * to return to greetings menu

5. Changing Password for Existing Users
Log into your voic by pressing the “Messages” button on your desk phone. Then when prompted, enter your password followed by pressing the # key.
Press * to access the main menu
Press 4 for mailbox options
Press 2 for administrative options
Press 1 to change your password
When prompted, enter your 4 digit password and press #

6. Voicemail Basic Etiquitte
Keep your greetings professional, and to the point. For example, “You have reached the desk of (Your Name and your department and/or job title). Please leave a brief message, with your name and contact number, and I will call you as soon as possible.”
Always check your voic for new messages, and respond to the senders in a timely fashion.
Be sure to delete your messages once they are no longer needed, so that your mailbox doesn’t become full. New callers cannot leave messages if your mailbox is full.
