22 With that I thank you for your support of the department and our initiatives and conclude with a snap shot of the people behind the numbers and improvements; the people that I get to represent here and in the community. They are providing quality to our service everyday to make our mission, values and goals a reality. 2019 narrative Finally, to the department staff on the front line doing the work each day; to the management team within the department, some of whom are in the audience this morning, that developed this budget and are thoughtful every day about how resources are used to fulfill the mission of the organization; to the other departments who work cooperatively with us to serve county residents; and to this board and county administration for being responsive to service needs and for giving us the support and opportunity to pursue and implement legislative, technology and operating improvements that positively impact our customers – my sincere thanks and appreciation.
