Public Viewer disclaimer (on Circa)
List of MS included Absence of sensitive species – if necessary contact Member States for more info. Technical information and limitations of the presented data: Generalization to scale 1:100000 Reprojected to WGS84 possible shift with background when zooming in close Date of reception of national datasets Date of production of EU-wide dataset The more up-to-date the data, the better
7
Sensitive species management
Problem: how to update list of species? Last year: standard Excel template Now: Word, Excel, txt file, paper, etc. Not always sent through Perm Rep: mail, exchange, etc. not manageable and not reliable in the long run Possible solutions: create an online interface where national data coordinators can update their own list of sensitive species (edit, add and delete) … ?
8
Acceptance/Refusal policy
Data can not be managed differently for each Member State: 27 Member States, 3 products = 27 * 27 * 27 = different combination of rules impossible to manage and keep track efficiently over time Simple alternative: either in or out (revision possible every six months)
