Day to Day Routines It is very important for our children to arrive at school on time. If your child arrives late we kindly ask that you sign your child in at the office. We want to encourage as much independence as we can in our children; therefore we ask that parents allow their children to walk to their classrooms by themselves (or with a staff member if required). When picking your child up afterschool, Kindergarten students are dismissed out our side door (where our ramp is) and parents are asked to meet the children there. Grade 1 students will be dismissed out the front door and ask that those parents meet their child at this entrance. If you need to pick your child up during the day we also ask that you sign them out at the office to ensure their safety.

Communication School phone: 453-5408
School website: School Messenger Monthly calendar/newsletter If your child is going to be absent from school for any reason if you could contact the school by: Sending a note with a sibling Phoning the school between 7:45-8:25am If neither of these are done, our administrative assistant will be calling home as part of our safe arrival program. Teachers will share with you specific classroom communication tools Please ensure we have all of your contact information up to date – it is important that we can reach parents throughout the day

Busing Young children are required to have an adult wait with them in the mornings to get on the bus. At the end of the day, please be standing outside by your child’s bus stop, otherwise the child will not be permitted to get off the bus. If you are driving your child to school please do not drop them off prior to 7:55am. If there are circumstances where your child will have a different dismissal arrangement, please notify the teacher or office. During the first two days of school, the Kindergarten teachers will be traveling on the bus with the students to assist with the new routine. - District Busing Info.
